When would a mortuary service be right for you?
Your firm's call volume can't justify bringing on another licensee.
Your firm is looking for ways to reduce costs.
Your firm has recently lost a licensee and you are in the interviewing and hiring process.
Your firm is looking for ways to maximize the availability time for the families you serve.
Your firm is overstretched.
You need additional coverage for removals.
Cloud Mortuary Services is for you.
There's a major shift in funeral service. You as a funeral home owner / professional are living it. 10 years ago cremation rates were in the single digits. Today, at many firms it is nearing 40% of their business. 10 years ago, many firms were having their cremations done away from the premises. Today, there are several crematories offering their services. You may have made the business decision to install your own crematory.
The rise of cremations has affected the need for embalming. You are a smart business owner / operator. You are looking for ways to get the best value for your dollar. You may be wondering if your firm can support embalmers on staff. This is not an unusual situation. Many of my clients are in this situation. You certainly understand the total dollar expense of hiring an embalmer to join your firm. As the rates of cremation rise at such a fast pace, will you be able to keep an embalmer on staff two years from now? Or 5 years from now? The question then becomes what will you do with your full service funerals? If you haven't faced these questions yet, I'm sure you will be in the same manner of asking yourself if you should put a retort in. Hard questions that need to be asked.
After talking with several local funeral directors about the changes in funeral service, Mike Cloud began Cloud Mortuary Services. It is a professional mortuary support service. Mike is a licensed Embalmer (EMB003944) and a licensed Funeral Director (FD004350) for the State of Georgia. The service offers both removal /transportation services in addition to trade embalming. Our services are focused on local funeral homes in Carroll, Douglas, Paulding, Heard, Haralson, Coweta, Fayette and parts of Fulton County.
Mike is not an employee of any funeral home. His business is independent of any funeral home or removal service. His service is to provide you high quality embalming and transportation. As a business to business enterprise he is there to compliment your business, not to compete with it. You may have seen Mike at a visit to your firm. This is because Mike wants this to be a relationship of trust and respect. Professional integrity and confidentiality are tantamount to Cloud Mortuary Services. Any professional or proprietary information will be safely guarded. Likewise, no other firm will know of your selection to use Cloud Mortuary Services unless you want them to. This, like your own business, is a business based on skills, abilities, and trust.
